Located in the heart of Irvine, 99 Ranch Market at 15333 Culver Dr Suite #800 is a premier destination for anyone looking to explore a diverse world of Asian groceries under one roof. As a well-established Asian grocery and supermarket, it stands out by offering an extensive range of products that span multiple countries including China, Japan, Korea, and Vietnam, making it a versatile stop for shoppers with varied culinary interests.
What truly sets 99 Ranch Market apart is its impressive selection that goes beyond the typical grocery store fare. Customers often praise the freshness and variety of produce — especially the unique fruits and vegetables that are not usually found in standard supermarkets. The seafood section is a standout, featuring live fish, crabs, and other shellfish that guarantee exceptional freshness, a real delight for seafood lovers and home chefs alike.
Many shoppers appreciate that the store serves as a one-stop-shop for Asian cooking essentials: from essential sauces and noodles to snacks and specialty ingredients. The breadth of items means you can find staples like green onions and eggs at great prices without sacrificing quality, as highlighted by savvy buyers who keep an eye on bargains. However, some products, such as specialized items like premium Japanese green tea, may come at a higher cost, encouraging shoppers to balance quality and budget thoughtfully.
The customer experience is enhanced by a helpful and knowledgeable staff who are always ready to assist, adding a personal touch to the bustling atmosphere. While the store can get busy — with lines sometimes forming at peak hours — the vibrant energy reflects just how much the community trusts and values what 99 Ranch Market offers.
In essence, 99 Ranch Market is a treasure trove for anyone passionate about Asian cuisine or simply in search of fresh, diverse ingredients. Whether you are a casual shopper or an enthusiastic foodie, the blend of variety, quality, and convenience makes this supermarket a beloved fixture in Irvine’s grocery scene.
A good "little bit of everything" Asian grocery store that doesn't seem focused on any specific country. So while you can find many of the staples, if you're looking for particular products from a specific country (Japan, Korea, China, Vietnam), it might make sense to seek out one of the many grocery stores in the area that are more focused on that cuisine. Pricing is good, and they are starting to get some organic produce. One frustration with 99 Ranch is that they do not keep their inventory accurate for online grocery shopping on UberEats. This can be frustrating when putting together an order just to get one thing, and that thing gets removed from the order every time (for a couple of months so far).
The place if you’re looking for groceries in general and asian food ingridients. Complete selection of meat, poultry and live seafood. And the staff very helpful. Very convenient to shop here
I absolutely adore this place! They seriously have everything from Asia, but man, the line can get pretty long sometimes.
99 Ranch is one of my favorite places to shop! The produce is always fresh, and they have such a wide variety of fruits and veggies you don’t usually find at regular grocery stores. The seafood section is great too—you can pick out live fish or crabs, and everything is super fresh. I also love browsing the aisles for sauces, noodles, snacks, and other Asian groceries—it feels like there’s always something new to try. The hot food area is perfect when I don’t feel like cooking. Prices are fair, and the store is clean and organized. Definitely recommend stopping by!
A very well-stocked Chinese supermarket with a ton of products for a one stop store, but great only if you shop carefully for the sales and lower-priced items. For example the Chinese vegetables are usually great quality for the price. For example today, a dozen eggs for $1.49 and 6 for $1 green onions excellent! But 100 average-quality, Japanese green tea bags for $26.99 horrible! Get the store points card for extra savings.
